Anita Gale

Chief Technical Officer (CTO)

Anita Gale is a retired aerospace engineer with 40 years of experience for The Boeing Company on the Space Shuttle and Commercial Crew programs. Her responsibilities primarily involved cargo integration and process improvements. She managed people, budgets, and schedules for diverse Boeing projects, contributed to proposals for future vehicles, and led R&D projects, including studies of future space infrastructure, and spacecraft cargo containerization and interface standardization that resulted in three U.S. Patents. Anita was a co-founder in 1984 of Space Settlement Design Competitions, which involve high school students worldwide in industry simulation games emulating the experience of working on a space industry proposal team. These competitions also inspired the establishment of for-profit Atlantis Educational Services, which conducts the SpaceTrek educational program at Kennedy Space Center; Anita is a Director of the company. She holds a BS and an MS in Aeronautics & Astronautics from the University of Washington.
